Digital mental health is a key component of sustainability because it promotes long-term well-being by using technology to support mental health care. By making mental health resources more accessible and efficient, digital tools help create healthier, more resilient communities that can thrive in a constantly evolving digital world. "Your Relationship with Your Phone" is a transformative module from PC Empowerment's Digital World Health curriculum. This interactive presentation is designed to raise awareness about the impact of digital device usage on mental well-being. It focuses on helping participants recognize the signs of digital exhaustion, understand the effects of social media on self-esteem, and practice mindful technology use. Through engaging discussions, participants will learn how to set digital boundaries, prioritize self-care, and implement practical strategies like digital detoxes. The session also encourages individuals to personify their devices, offering a fresh perspective on how to establish healthier, more balanced relationships with technology. The presentation provides actionable steps, such as limiting app usage, scheduling time away from devices, and being intentional about when and how we interact with our phones. By the end of the session, participants are invited to take the Digital Mental Health Quiz to further assess their habits and discover ways to improve their digital well-being. Perfect for both youth and adults, this session empowers communities to thrive in the digital age while maintaining mental health and balance.
