This is a holistic program as it equips students with practical business, financial, leadership, and digital skills, preparing them to become future entrepreneurs, innovators, and workforce-ready professionals in addition to providing Digital Mental Health resources, tools, and support for healthier founders and entrepreneurs that are more ethical and resilient when it comes to thriving in a constantly evolving digital world. Curriculum & Weekly Breakdown Week 1: Dreaming & Ideation (Career Interest & Messaging) Week 2: Dreaming & Ideation (DMH Self Awareness & Wellness) Week 3: Market Research & Business Planning (Business Model Canvas) Week 4: Market Research & Business Planning (Critique Your Speech) Week 5: Financial Foundations (Business Accounting Basics) Week 6: Financial Foundations (Banking & Relationships) Week 7: Marketing & Branding (Communicating You) Week 8: Marketing & Branding (Overcoming Comparison & Burnout - DMH) Week 9: Technology & Innovation (AI) Week 10: Technology & Innovation (Product & Service Development) Week 11: Pitching & Networking (Pitch Practice, Net Worth Networking) Week 12: Pitching & Networking (Pitch Practice, Networking Luncheon) Digital Wellness: participants learn how to set digital boundaries, prioritize self-care, and implement practical strategies like digital detoxes to establish healthier, more balanced relationships with technology during the early stages of building. Perfect for empowering youth, students, and emerging entrepreneurs to thrive in the digital age while maintaining mental health and balance. UAB Entrepreneurship Scholarship: Scholarship support for students pursuing Entrepreneurship at UAB (Dr. Patrick Murphy, Chair) Career Interest Survey (Week 1): Administered by PC Media Techs to ensure students are placed with hands-on experience opportunities that align with their true passion areas. Hands-On Learning: Students will be able to job-shadow and gain hands-on experience through intern and apprenticeship programs. Youth Summit Graduation: Final showcase where students present projects to City leaders, sponsors, and community partners. Impacted Age Group Segments Juniors & Seniors (ages 15-19) Emerging Adults (ages 20-26) How We Impact Affected Groups We integrate ethical DMH solutions that proactively support workforce wellness and simultaneously strengthen the system's focus on liability, risk management, and violence prevention.
