This initiative equips 11th & 12th graders in Jefferson County with technical proficiency, ethical Al leadership, digital wellness, and foundational business acumen to thrive in a digital economy. Our 3 pipelines: real-world career, business, and college pathways. Date & Timeline: Spring Semester 2027 (January – May 2027). Time: Program delivery takes place during high school classroom hours (decided by school administration at the beginning of each semester), supplemented by bi-weekly Saturday mentorship sessions. Purpose: The Tech Mogul Initiative is an 8-week structured program designed to empower 11th and 12th-grade students with digital mental health strategies, AI literacy, technical skills, and practical business/marketing acumen. The $5,000 Founding Tech Mogul Partnership will directly support 40–60+ students, providing on-site facilitators, essential equipment (tablets, protective cases, and project workbooks), Saturday mentorship programming, and workforce/higher-education pipelines including corporate field trips and UAB scholarship pathways. Location: Delivered on-site across targeted Birmingham City High Schools (including Wenonah High School, Jackson-Olin High School, and Build Up Community School), with hands-on sessions at The PC Empowerment LAB in downtown Birmingham, an immersive campus visit to the UAB School of Business, and feild trips to corporate offices. Selected Tech Mogul students have the opportunity to take an exclusive corporate field trip to HibbFest in February 2027 at Hibbett’s Corporate Office!
